Greenhous DAF has supplied five DAF trucks to the UK’s largest steel profiler Malthouse Engineering to enable it tocontinue distributing its range of flame cut steel profiles.
Greenhous DAF, in Willenhall, has supplied the business with five striking red DAF trucks as Malthouse Engineering updates its existing fleet. As the largest steel profiler in the UK, the business has five sites across the UK and offers a wide spectrum of services that set it apart from other profiling firms across Europe.
Having recently recorded a 50 per cent increase in turnover, the business is moving from strength to strength as it services clients in a variety of sectors including agriculture, medical, defence and oil and gas, and Roy Taylor, managing director of Malthouse Engineering, said that he was keen to enhance its fleet with reliable, cost-effective and easily-maintained trucks to ensure that it continued to uphold its excellent standards.
“We’ve worked with Greenhous DAF for some years now and we’ve been impressed with the level of service we’ve received throughout from Rob Binnion and his team. The relationship doesn’t stop with the trucks being delivered, the relationship is maintained and the team obviously takes pride in its customer experience.
“The only change we’ve made with the latest trucks is the colour. As the company colours are silver, red and black we’ve moved from silver trucks to red ones, to give us more impact. Not only will the enhanced fleet enable us to distribute our flame cut steel profiles throughout the UK, but it is more environmentally responsible and fuel efficient, thanks to lower carbon emissions to tie in with our ISO14001 Environmental Management accreditation,” he said.
The business has invested in two DAF LF45 12T chassis with dropside bodies, one DAF CF65 18T Sleeper cab chassis with a dropside body and two DAF CF75 26T Sleeper cab chassis with dropside bodies.
Rob Binnion, of Greenhous DAF, said: “Malthouse Engineering is an established and respected Midlands-based business and we’re pleased to have formed a trusted relationship with the team. The business is an ever-increasing success story and it’s always good to have our customer service levels acknowledged by such companies.
“We do take enormous pride in achieving high customer satisfaction levels and in the longevity of many of the relationships we enjoy with our commercial clients.”
